RAC has a unique skill set in all aspects of managing, analyzing, and using environmental measurement and other quantitative and qualitative data, as well as in working with a broad range of database formats. RAC specializes in analyzing environmental measurement data to evaluate impacts on the surrounding environment. This process includes dose and risk calculations, fate and transport analysis, model calibration and validation, and regulatory compliance. Environmental data analysis necessarily involves characterization of background (or baseline) concentrations, comparison to relevant regulatory standards, and consideration of data quality (e.g., detection status, analytical method, detection limits, qualifiers, etc.). RAC’s data management approach and design has a firm scientific foundation with these aspects of data analysis in mind.
